A thing or two about the crew, and why we do what we do...
Welcome to American Made Mischief Apparel, a new & rapidly growing apparel company born out of a prolonged discontent with 'the state of the state', and a compelling sense of duty to speak up and speak out, and to help others do the same. And, to have fun with that wherever we can.
Our brand represents a vibrant voice for every sensible American patriot who's sick of seeing our country and our culture get sold out, and watching it slip away one wave at a time in a soulless tide of status-seeking virtue signaling, vanity, and vaguely-veiled violations of our sacred values.
It's counter-counter culture, with a vision to reclaim a former glory now lost in the past. An American glory that manifests when we each acknowledge and exercise our own unique personal agency in achieving our rightful potential as individuals. Individuals who prosper together by sharing values in cohesive culture. A community of like-minded do-gooders with a clear creed and a common cause.
Some of us were built loud, others were radicalized into an aggressive position, but either way- we’re emboldened to awaken the sleepwalking woke, cancel the cancellers, and level the liars, leftists, & losers with lean logic, leaving them laid low. Snowflakes and sensitivities be damned.
American Made Mischief runs on equal parts cultural memory, historical curiosity, & a low resting tolerance for social dysfunction and the official narrative version of just about everything. The social satire designs are inspired from meaningful moments in film/TV, powerful points in philosophy, parodies of the precariousness of politics, well-deserved pop-culture iconography, observances made with pursuing objective truth, and hidden histories that were swept under the rug because they were inconvenient.
We aim to help you bring awareness to issues that really matter, and more importantly- in a way that's fun for everyone. Or, at least... everyone who knows what’s up. Anyone else is obviously wrong, and we're going to politely, or impolitely… rub that in their faces.
Some of it will make a stranger laugh. Some will make them think. Some will make them Google something when they get home. All of it is intentional.
Each t-shirt is a test. It proves you’ve been paying attention. If you get it, welcome to the mischief makers. If you don't, no hard feelings — there's probably a brand out there with more of a swoosh-like thing going on that'll hopefully work better for where you’re at.
Pro tip: Let your t-shirt do the talking. Or, at least let it start the conversation.
